The position ensures successful quarry operation by attaining the highest mining and plant productivity at the lowest cost without sacrificing the quality of the materials with the highest level of safety and environmental compliance

Job Scope:

• Implements the Quarry Procedures of the company (ie. Drilling, Blasting, Loading, Hauling, Stripping)
• Manages with the Quarry Services Provider the plan and priority activities based on the mining plan
• Evaluates the performance of the Quarry Services Provider and gives recommendation on cost optimization, billing management and provides recommendation for the renewal of services
• Manages short and medium production and quarry development programs and services
• Evaluates the quarry long term development plans from the Mine Planner
• Ensures that the final mine rehabilitation plan has been implemented
• Develops environmental strategies and action plans
• Tracks submission of mandatory reports to all DENR and MGB
• Ensures that all government regulations are monitored and complied
• Other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
• Ensures that the highest level of safety and environmental compliance is observe and maintain in the quarry area

Qualification:

• Mining Engineering graduate, preferably with professional license or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Supervisory or Managerial capacity preferably earned in quarry operations
